Getting Started

Q.How does TradeVue work?

TradeVue is a trading journal that helps you track, analyze, and improve your trading. You can manually log trades, import from CSV, or connect your broker (Zerodha, Angel One) for automatic syncing. We then show you analytics, patterns, and AI insights based on your data.

Q.How to connect my broker?

Go to Settings → Broker Integration, select your broker (Zerodha or Angel One), and follow the OAuth flow. We only get read-only access to your trade history—we never see your passwords or bank details.

Q.Is my data safe?

Yes. We use 256-bit encryption, secure authentication, and never store broker passwords. Your data is hosted on Supabase with enterprise-grade security. We don't sell or share your data with anyone.

Q.Do I need a broker API?

No. You can use TradeVue without broker integration by manually logging trades or uploading CSV files. Broker integration is optional for automatic syncing.

Q.Which brokers are supported?

Currently: Zerodha (Kite Connect) and Angel One (SmartAPI). More brokers are coming soon based on user demand.

Subscription & Billing

Q.How does the free trial work?

Every new user gets 7 days of full access—no credit card required. After the trial, choose a Monthly (₹249) or Yearly (₹999) plan to continue using TradeVue.

Q.How to upgrade my subscription?

Go to Settings → Subscription and click "Upgrade Now". Choose Monthly or Yearly, complete payment via Razorpay, and you're done.

Q.Can I get a refund?

Since we offer a free trial, all paid subscriptions are non-refundable. Refunds are only provided for duplicate payments or technical errors on our side. See our Refund Policy for details.

Q.Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of your paid period. No future charges will occur.

Q.What payment methods are accepted?

We accept UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Wallets via Razorpay (India's most trusted payment gateway).

Q.Will I get a renewal reminder?

Yes. We send an email 3 days before your subscription renews. You can cancel before renewal to avoid charges.

AI & Insights

Q.What does the AI analyze?

Our AI looks at YOUR trading patterns: overtrading, revenge trading, best performing times, risk management, win/loss streaks, and emotional behavior. It doesn't predict markets—it helps you understand yourself.

Q.Does AI give stock tips?

NO. We never give buy/sell recommendations. Our AI only analyzes YOUR past trades to help you improve discipline and decision-making.

Q.How accurate is the AI?

The AI is as good as the data you provide. If you log trades accurately, the insights will be useful. It's a tool to spot patterns you might miss—not a magic solution.

Q.Can I trust AI insights?

AI insights are suggestions, not commands. Use them to reflect on your behavior. Always make your own decisions.

Troubleshooting

Q.Trades not syncing from broker?

Check: (1) Is your broker API connected? (2) Did you trade today? Syncs happen after market close. (3) Try disconnecting and reconnecting your broker in Settings.

Q.Data mismatch with my broker?

Broker APIs sometimes have delays or exclude certain charges. Always verify important data with your broker's official app.

Q.I forgot my password

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your email, and we'll send a reset link.

Q.My trial expired but I didn't subscribe

Your data is safe. You can still log in and view/export your data. Subscribe to continue adding new trades and using features.

Q.App is slow or not loading

Try: (1) Clear browser cache (2) Use Chrome/Edge (3) Check your internet. If it persists, email us with details.
